The FDNY to Commemorate 30th Anniversary of Merger with NYC Health and Hospitals EMS

The Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) Commissioner Lillian Bonsignore and FDNY Officials will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the merger between New York City Health and Hospitals EMS and the FDNY on Monday, March 16th at 11:00 AM at the FDNY EMS Bureau of Training at Fort Totten.

On March 17, 1996, the two groups officially merged, in a collaboration that has helped the Department save lives and respond efficiently to the growing number of medical calls received each year in New York City.

WHO: Fire Commissioner Lillian Bonsignore, Chief of Department John Esposito, Chief of EMS Paul Miano, FDNY officials, retired and active members of the FDNY.
