Fujifilm Life Sciences at BIO 2026

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., June 18, 2026 - Millions of patients worldwide still lack access to vital medicines. At BIO International Convention 2026, taking place June 22-25 at the San Diego Convention Center, Fujifilm's Life Sciences group will showcase how its integrated global ecosystem is helping biopharmaceutical innovators accelerate the path from discovery to delivery. The company's expanding life sciences portfolio supports therapeutics from discovery to commercialization, serving as "Partners for Life" to tackle devastating diseases and improve patient lives.

Leadership from across Fujifilm's Partners for Life portfolio of businesses will be available to discuss recent developments in the company's life sciences offerings. Some of these highlights include:

• New for BIO 2026, Fujifilm's booth will feature an Innovation Showcase of several standout technologies, including a continuous electroporation gene delivery system and a first look at the high-sensitivity in-line Raman measuring system announced this week. Also in the Innovation Showcase, FUJIFILM Biosciences will share the Oceo Rover Automated Hydration System, the world's first integrated single-use, closed-loop system designed to deliver bioprocessing solutions on demand.
• FUJIFILM Biotechnologies has celebrated several significant milestones during the past year, including the operational launch of a $3.2 billion facility in Holly Springs, North Carolina, one of the largest commercial-scale cell culture biomanufacturing sites in North America, which has now surpassed 800 employees. The company also grew its global biomanufacturing network with the completion of a £400 million expansion in Teesside, UK, now the country's largest single-use CDMO facility, which opened alongside the Bioprocess Innovation Centre UK, a state-of-the-art laboratory for both high-throughput and continuous process development capabilities that will operate as a global centre of excellence for biomanufacturing innovation and process development, and the opening of a new quality control laboratory in Hillerød, Denmark, doubled the site's quality control footprint. Further, FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is enhancing bioprocessing innovation with MaruX, an agile, fully integrated continuous processing platform automating and integrating upstream and downstream processes.
• On the heels of recently announced leadership enhancements to more closely align the cell therapies offerings between FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics and FUJIFILM Biotechnologies California, as well as last month's grand opening of FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics' new Madison, Wisc., headquarters and iPSC manufacturing facility, the company has added several new products to its catalogue. These include iCell® Intestinal Epithelial Cells, iCell® GFP Microglia, and iCell® CardioSpheres, which are expanding researchers' access to human cell models for gut biology, neuroinflammation, and cardiac research.
• FUJIFILM Biosciences, which recently rebranded from FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific, earlier this year announced a global commercial launch of an offering that combines umbilical cord mesenchymal stromal cells with media, to deliver a high-quality, standardized solution for researchers working in immunology, regenerative medicine, and cell therapy development. FUJIFILM Biosciences continues to expand their portfolio of applications, including life science and discovery research, cell and gene therapy, as well as the large-scale production of biotherapeutics and vaccines.
• FUJIFILM Wako Pure Chemical, which provides seamless cross-company collaboration across Fujifilm's chemistry and life science portfolio and CDMO services, will showcase cutting-edge solutions, including GMP raw materials, QC testing solutions, CAR-T development tools, high-quality antibodies, and advanced reagents.
• FUJIFILM Toyama Chemical and FUJIFILM Pharmaceuticals U.S.A., Inc. will also be in attendance to discuss proprietary ionizable lipids and their mRNA, LNP, and liposome CDMO services, as well as the effort to begin offering Japan's first fully integrated ADC manufacturing services in 2027, which will serve as a core hub for future global expansion.
