2025 ASICS SMA Conference - Program released

Jun 18, 2025

We're pleased to present the 2025 ASICS SMA Conference Program.

Held in stunning Hobart from 29 October to 1 November, this event brings together leading minds in sports medicine and sports science for four days of learning, networking and innovation. Join physiotherapists, sports physicians, podiatrists, exercise scientists, dietitians and more for a truly multidisciplinary experience.

This year's program features seven outstanding speakers from Australia and abroad, including Prof Nick Brown delivering the prestigious Refshauge Lecture: An intersection of sports podiatry with musculoskeletal and sports biomechanics research.

With over 400 delegates expected, you'll explore cutting-edge research, practical workshops and symposia, gain fresh insights, and strengthen your research or your clinical work - whether you're just starting out or are well established.

Beyond the sessions, the social program is your chance to reconnect, build new professional relationships and grow your referral network. We'll celebrate excellence, welcome new Fellows, and share memorable moments that reflect the strength of our community.

Whether you're a practitioner, researcher or student, #ASICSSMA2025 is your chance to be part of something bigger. We can't wait to welcome you to Hobart.
