Military Premium Credit Now Available to New Businesses Owned by Military Members

WSI is proud to introduce the Military Premium Credit, designed to support veteran-owned and active-duty-owned businesses across North Dakota.

This one-time $250 premium credit is available to new businesses applying for WSI coverage on or after 07/01/2025 who meet eligibility criteria.

How It Works:

  • Who's Eligible: New policyholders whose businesses are owned by active-duty military members, veterans, or veterans' surviving spouses.
  • How Eligibility Is Determined: Eligibility is reviewed during the underwriting process after the Application for Insurance is submitted
  • Credit Amount: $250 applied to the premium for the first policy period
  • How to Apply: Complete the Application for Insurance to obtain WSI coverage; no separate form is required

Why It Matters:
This initiative reflects WSI's dedication to honoring those who serve, and it supports North Dakota's broader commitment to being a military-friendly state. By reducing barriers for veterans, active-duty service members, and veterans' surviving spouses who are starting a business, we're investing in their success and strengthening communities across the state.
