WASHINGTON-The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) and a group of 16 prominent policy experts today called on the Trump administration to insist that U.S. trading partners stop unfairly targeting America's leading technology companies with policies that constitute "non-tariff attacks."
The group described the growing trend, highlighted its implications for economic competitiveness and national security, and offered policy recommendations in a letter to U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, and Senior Counselor to the President Peter Navarro.
