FTI Consulting Bolsters Financial Services, Operations and Digital Transformation Expertise with Two Senior Hires

London, 20 January 2025 - FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) has further strengthened its financial services, operations and digital transformation offerings in the UK with the appointment of Mark Flanagan and Matthew Pearson as Managing Directors in the firm's Business Transformation practice.

In their roles at FTI Consulting, Mr. Flanagan and Mr. Pearson will support the delivery of a range of client transformation projects, including supply chain and process optimisation, digital innovation and other performance improvement initiatives.

Mr. Flanagan has more than 23 years of experience delivering digital transformation, innovation and strategic growth initiatives for financial services clients globally. He has deep expertise in retail and commercial banking, with a proven track record of delivering practical and effective solutions to clients' problems. Mr Flanagan has led a wide range of transformations, from design to implementation, including new digital client journeys to drive growth, strengthening controls and regulatory compliance and modernising legacy products and platforms to reduce costs. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Flanagan was a Senior Director at EY focused on SME and commercial banking.

Mr. Pearson brings more than 25 years of consulting and industry performance improvement and transformation experience to FTI Consulting. He has a strong background of driving business growth through strategic transformation initiatives and advanced analytics. Mr. Pearson's experience includes leading global, enterprise-wide projects in the automotive, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and chemicals industries. Previously, he was a Senior Director and Head of Strategy at Abbott Established Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, Mr. Pearson was an Expert Associate Partner at McKinsey. He has previously worked for Aston Martin Lagonda and Toyota Europe.

Mr. Flanagan and Mr. Pearson are the most recent senior hires in the firm's Business Transformation practice in the EMEA region. In 2024, the firm added Senior Managing Director Wim Gysegom and Managing Directors Bach Nguyen, Jason Rogers and Viktor Dobrikov. In other European markets, the firm welcomed Senior Managing Directors Jean-Werner de T'Serclaes in France, Ramon Baeza in Spain, Stefan Van Thienen in Germany and Jean-Michel Mollo in Brussels.
