Stony Brook Is Celebrating Its Own Olympic History

New York Times multimedia editor Bedel Saget '88 at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

With the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina, Italy, in full swing, Stony Brook University can be proud of its own rich history of excellence on the Olympics and Paralympics world stage.

We have identified more than a dozen athletes, coaches and media members who have participated in the Olympics and Paralympics over the years.

We are looking to identify every member of the Seawolf community who has competed, coached or was part of the production crew (videographers, announcers, reporters and photographers) at the Olympics or Paralympics.

Help us complete our roster by filling out our Stony Brook University Olympians Form. We want to make sure your legacy is part of our history!
