TRAFFIC ALERT - Statewide - Closure of South Street and West Street Intersection
Closure of South Street and West Street Intersection
Camden - ; The Delaware Department of Transportation announces the intersection of South Street and West Street will be closed on Friday, January 23, 2026, for approximately 1 week for utility work as part of the West Camden Bypass project.
Detour is as follows:
Motorists on the east side of the closure who wish to travel west should drive east on South Street and make a left onto S. Main Street. Proceed on S Main Street to Camden Wyoming Avenue and make a left.
Motorists on the west side of the closure who wish to travel east should drive west on South Street and make a right onto S Caesar Rodney Ave. Proceed on S Caesar Rodney Ave to Camden Wyoming Avenue and make a right.
Motorists are reminded to slow down in work zones and to expect minor delays while traveling in the area.
