On 24 July 2026, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP)2026/18501 implementing Decision 2011/235/CFSP concerning restrictive measures directed against certain persons and entities in view of the situation in Iran.

The Council decided that six persons should be included in the list of persons and entities subject to restrictive measures set out in the Annex to Decision 2011/235/CFSP.

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Moldova (Republic of), Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway and Ukraine align themselves with this Council Decision.

They will ensure that their national policies conform to this Decision.

The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
