North Carolina 2025 Career Expo showcases public service opportunities across the stateRecruiters and jobseekers meet in person at this free event next month in Research Triangle Park (RTP).

The third annual State of North Carolina Career Expo will take place on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the Sheraton Imperial RTP, located at 4700 Emperor Blvd. in Durham. North Carolinians of all education and experience levels are invited to register for this free event.

"North Carolina is a great place to live and work, and we are always looking for more talented people who can help make the state we love safer and stronger," said Governor Josh Stein. "Holding the Expo in the Triangle for a third consecutive year will help our agencies and universities recruit more people to join Team N.C."

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore current job openings at 34 state agencies and public universities by visiting those organizations' dedicated booths. Recruiters will engage in person with prospective candidates, answer questions, and provide guidance. Some agencies will also host information sessions throughout the day.

"We are always looking for talented and committed people who want to have a career in North Carolina state government," said State Human Resources Director Staci Meyer. "If you are public service-minded and want to make a positive impact on our state, please join us at the Expo next month in RTP."

This year's Expo will feature a variety of activities and resources on site:
• NCWorks mobile unit
• Dress for Success mobile unit
• NCWorks Veterans Services vendor table specifically designed to help veteran job seekers
• N.C. Department of Health and Human Services' Division of Employment and Independence for
People with Disabilities accessibility assistance

Temporary Solutions, a division of the North Carolina Office of State Human Resources, will also conduct information sessions, sharing temporary job opportunities across the state and offering tips on applying for state jobs.
