Civmec takes out first place in painting competition

Last week, a team representing Civmec took out first place in the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) annual painters' competition.

The team showcased exceptional skills in applying protective coatings to a steel plate, a task designed to test each contestant's abilities and knowledge of all industry applicable rules and regulations.

The expertise they demonstrated earned them the title of best painter team nationally. As a result, they have been sponsored to travel to Houston, Texas, to compete for the global title.
