Becky Smith, President/CEO of APG FCU, Talks to Daily Record

APG FCU has appointed Becky Smith as its new president and CEO. Smith brings a wealth of experience, previously serving as EVP and chief revenue officer at SECU of Maryland, with a background that includes leadership roles in banking and time at a global consulting firm.

In her first year, Smith aims to expand APGFCU's presence in Baltimore City and County while maintaining strong community ties in Harford and Cecil counties. She emphasizes the credit union's commitment to financial education, community involvement, and member-focused service.

Smith highlights employee engagement, secure yet seamless digital banking, and new service innovations as key priorities. Under her leadership, APGFCU plans to continue partnering with schools, hospitals, and nonprofits, and recently became a sponsor of the inaugural Preakness Festival to support local economic development.

Driven by a passion for empowering others and building inclusive communities, Smith is enthusiastic about leading APGFCU into its next chapter.
