Splendor Valley Road, County Route 1/7, in McDowell County, to be Closed on Saturday, February 21, 2026
Splendor Valley Road, at mile marker 0.11, will be closed, in McDowell County, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, to allow for a short span bridge replacement. Route will be accessible from the intersection of Litwar Branch Road, County Route 1/5, to mile marker 0.10. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and expect delays. Exact schedule weather-dependent.
