WABASH, Ind. - April 24, 2026 - Parkview Wabash Hospital (PWB) will unveil a new outpatient facility on Wednesday, April 29, and area residents are invited to get a first look during a ribbon-cutting and open house from 4 to 6 p.m.
The medical office building, officially named Parkview Wabash MOB West, is located at 1700 Alber St., less than a half mile from the PWB campus. The MOB West has undergone major renovation over the past several months. Encompassing 26,000 square feet, the facility will house more than half a dozen important services in one location, enabling PWB to better serve patients while accommodating growth in local healthcare needs.
"Part of our mission to deliver excellent care to every person every day is finding new ways to make access to care more commonsense and more convenient," said Deb Potempa, market president, Parkview Health South. "Opening this additional MOB enables us to make it simpler for patients to obtain multiple related outpatient services under one roof. In particular, athletes and weekend warriors will be able to access orthopedic care, surgical consults, targeted therapy, pain management and sports conditioning all at the MOB West."
"With orthopedic services, radiology and physical therapy all housed together at the MOB West, we will be able to offer patients a more comprehensive, convenient experience," said Dr. Jason Ummel, Parkview Physicians Group (PPG) - Orthopedics. "This type of thoughtful facility planning enhances the care we can provide to our patients."
Services available at the MOB West will consolidate some specialties previously located at the original MOB as well as those formerly at the Cass Street location:
The first day for patient appointments at these offices is May 4. Convenient parking is available.
Parkview Wabash Hospital is located at 10 John Kissinger Drive, just off U.S. 24 in Wabash. Alber Street runs along the west edge of the hospital campus.
