RALEIGH - The Campbell Law School Alumni Association welcomed more than 200 alumni back to campus on Saturday, May 3, 2025, for its annual alumni class reunion activities. The Classes of 1980, 1985, 1995, 2000, 2015 and 2020 and their guests descended upon Raleigh for events at the law school and a plated dinner at The StateView Hotel.

Morning activities at the law school included tours of the building, family fun activities, a "State of the Law School" presentation by Dean J. Rich Leonard and a barbecue lunch.

This year's class reunion committees were chaired by Gary Shipman '80 (Co-Chair), George Palmer '80 (Co-Chair), the Honorable Robert Radar '85 (Chair), Sheila Pope '95 (Co-Chair), William Pope '95 (Co-Chair), Jonathan Breeden '00 (Chair), Harsh Patel '15 (Co-Chair), Kristi Haddock '15 (Co-Chair), London Tessener '20 (Co-Chair) and Nicholas Tessener '20 (Co-Chair).

The evening's festivities, which were sponsored by Shipman, Sheila Pope '95and William Pope '95, capped off a yearlong fundraising and engagement effort undertaken by law school administrators and volunteer committees from each class.

"The Campbell Law Alumni Association extends a heartfelt thanks to our reunion committees for their tireless efforts leading into tonight's dinner," said Assistant Dean of External Relations Megan Sherron '10. "This event would not be possible without their dedication, leadership and commitment to bringing fellow classmates together."

During the dinner program Dean Leonard was presented with a check for $591,051.85 representing funds that were donated by class members to the law school throughout the 2025 fiscal year.

"It was such a joy to see so many familiar faces and some new ones, too," Leonard said. "Tonight's dinner includes multiple generations of Campbell alumni, some of whom earned their degree in Buies Creek, while others did so in Raleigh. They all share in being graduates of this great institution and having a positive impact on their communities."
