With the official Galaxy Party 2026 ceremony, the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) celebrated the successful completion of the sixth edition of its beamUp lab growth programme. Held on 4 November 2026, the event brought together representatives of the business, government institutions, the investment community and the initiative's partners. During the ceremony were recognised the companies, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit, innovation and strong growth potential.
Galaxy Party 2026 was officially opened by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Galab Donev, Deputy Minister of Economy, Investment and Industry Krasimir Yakimov, Executive Director of the Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Boyko Takov, and BSE Executive Director Assoc. Prof. Dr Manyu Moravenov.
In his address to the guests, Minister of Finance Galab Donev emphasised that the development of the Bulgarian economy is built on strong businesses and entrepreneurship. He expressed confidence that attracting more investment to the country requires the consistent development of the capital market, providing new opportunities for Bulgarian companies to access financing and achieve further growth.
Krasimir Yakimov, Deputy Minister of Economy, stated that Bulgaria has entrepreneurs with the ideas, ambition and potential to compete successfully in international markets. He highlighted the important role programmes such as beamUp lab play in the economy by helping Bulgarian companies transform their potential into sustainable growth.
Boyko Takov, Executive Director of the Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, drew attention to a new programme supporting businesses, planning to raise capital through the stock exchange. He presented an opportunity for companies to reduce up to 90% of the costs associated with preparing for and listing on the capital market.
The sixth edition of beamUp lab, launched in January 2026, brought together 20 Bulgarian companies from different sectors and at various stages of development. Throughout the year, the participants took part in four strategic Gravity MeetUp meetings focused on business development, financing opportunities, interaction with investors and access to the capital market.
The highlight of the evening was the traditional beamUp lab awards, recognising the achievements, development and contribution of the participating companies:
• Super Star - Aladin Foods - the programme's top distinction.
• Moon for Investors - MYX Robotics - awarded for investment potential.
• Sun of Community - BuzKo - awarded for its contribution to the community.
• Green Star - Volt Taxi - awarded for sustainable development and environmental solutions.
• Favourite Star - Volt Taxi - the audience award.
For the first time in the history of the Galaxy Party, one company received two distinctions. Volt Taxi was honoured with both the Green Star award and the audience-selected Favourite Star 2026 award.
A special award for pioneering spirit, innovation and entrepreneurial courage was granted to NIKI Rotor Aviation, Bulgaria's first manufacturer of gyrocopters (autogyros). The award was presented by Aleksandar Georgiev, Executive Director and Chair of the Management Board of the Fund of Funds.
The beamUp lab programme encourages the growth of promising Bulgarian companies and expands their access to financing opportunities. The initiative is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance and in partnership with the Bulgarian Association of Licensed Investment Intermediaries, the Bulgarian Entrepreneurial Association (BESCO), the Bulgarian Development Bank, the Fund of Funds, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank and the Bulgarian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.
