Lincoln City DMV will reopen June 30 following a temporary closure

LINCOLN CITY - Oregon DMV has soaring news for residents of the "Kite Capital of the World." The Lincoln City DMV will reopen June 30 following a two-month temporary closure. The office at 4422 NE Devils Lake Blvd, Suite 1, has been closed since April 20 due to operational and staff considerations.

Starting June 30, the Lincoln City office will resume regular hours:

• 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday
• 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday
• Daily break from noon to 1:30 p.m.

The office does not offer Class C drive tests. We suggest visiting a third-party tester in Newport.

You may be able to complete your service at DMV2U, which offers over 30 transactions 24-hours-a-day, letting you complete your transaction at a time and place that works best for you. These videos guide you through some of the more common actions you can do on DMV2U.
