Schedule: Upcoming meetings, presentations regarding Norman’s Area & Infrastructure Master Plan

Norman, OKLA. - Following unanimous Steering Committee approvalof Norman's drafted Comprehensive Plan in March, a schedule of other public meetings and contractor presentations pertaining to the plan has been made available. That schedule can be found below.

• April 3, 2025: Board of Parks Commissioners Meeting (Parks Master Plan only)
• April 9, 2025: Planning Commission Special Meeting (Land Use Plan scenario training)
• April 22, 2025: City Council Conference Meeting
• May 8, 2025: Planning Commission Meeting
• June 10, 2025: City Council Meeting
• June 24, 2025: City Council Meeting

As meetings draw closer, agendas for each meeting will be posted to Normanok.gov.

During the planning process, which began in the Fall of 2023, community engagement included:

• Community-wide mailers
• The establishment of a primary website, phone line and email address for updates and feedback
• Nine open houses and neighborhood workshops
• Forty-five listening sessions
• Eighteen pop-up events and presentations
• Dozens of media interviews and stories from news outlets across the OKC metropolitan area
