Esmaeil Baghaei, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, referring to the occurrence of a severe earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand, expressed his sympathy with the families of the victims and the governments and people of Myanmar and Thailand.
Baqaei announced Iran's readiness to assist in the relief and rescue efforts.
According to initial reports the earthquaje has resulted in numerous deaths and injuries in these two countries as well as significant financial damage
