WASHINGTON (April 13, 2026)- The Food and Agriculture - Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Food and Ag-lSAC) proudly announces that the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) has joined its Industry Association Partner Program. This collaboration marks a step forward in securing the food and beverage sector against digital threats.
Through their involvement in the program, IBWA and its member companies receive sector-specific intelligence, including weekly analytics and updates on the shifting global risk environment. Additionally, the partnership provides rapid notifications regarding cyberattacks and vulnerabilities, along with professional guidance on securing manufacturing and distribution operations against digital threats.
IBWA joins an influential group of trade organizations already participating in the program, including the American Farm Bureau Federation, Food Industry Association, International Dairy Foods Association, Meat Institute, National Chicken Council, National Grain and Feed Association, and SNAC International.
"IBWA's role in ensuring the safety and availability of drinking water makes them a vital partner in our mission to secure the food and agriculture supply chain," said Jonathan Braley, Director of the Food and Ag-lSAC. "We look forward to providing the bottled water industry with the intelligence necessary to shield their essential operations."
IBWA's partnership with the Food and Ag-lSAC aims to deepen collaboration and ensure the resilience of water processing and delivery systems against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.
"The bottled water industry has spent decades earning consumer trust through rigorous safety standards and an unwavering commitment to quality at every step of the supply chain," said IBWA President and CEO Matt Herrick. "As more consumers discover and purchase their favorite beverages online, protecting that trust means safeguarding not just what's in the bottle, but the systems that get it there. Our partnership with the Food and Ag-lSAC reflects that same standard of care, bringing the same discipline we apply to water to the security of the infrastructure that powers the entire food and beverage sector."
A stronger industry starts with shared intelligence. By uniting expertise, the Food and Ag-lSAC and IBWA elevate the security posture of the industry at large, while helping their member organizations of every size navigate the risks of a highly interconnected digital world.
