WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, a day after Xi Jinping's birthday, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution led by U.S. Senator Rick Scott condemning Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), as well as the long train of abuses and atrocities the CCP has committed, including its exploitation of slave labor, genocide against ethnic minorities, and its threat to U.S. national security.
Senator Scott said, "The CCP, especially under Xi Jinping's tyranny, has a particular brand of evil. They seek to control the world, and in their mind, that means destroying anyone who stands in their way - whether it's their own people or not. We cannot be afraid to stand up to our enemies and hold the line for the next generation of Americans."
