Presentation of Hrair Hawk Khatcherian's book "Khatchkar" at the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to Canada
08 November, 2024On November 8, the presentation of the book by renowned Canadian Armenian photographer Hrair Hawk Khatcherian, entitled "Khatchkar" was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to Canada.
In her opening remarks H.E. Ambassador Harutyunyan highly appreciated the longtime contribution of H. Khatcherian in the public awareness, documentation and preservation of the Armenian historical and cultural heritage.
The author introduced his book, touching upon its deep connections with the Armenian miniature art and Christianity, as well as countless examples of millennia-old presence of the Armenian nation in the Armenian Highland.
