At about 7:15 p.m. on Oct. 30, Columbia Police responded to an armed robbery on the 2100 block of Paris Road.
According to the cashier, a Black male entered the store wearing a black hoodie, a black mask, black pants with white markings on the legs, and a dark-colored backpack. The suspect then demanded money from the cash register. He kept one hand in his pocket throughout the encounter and made statements indicating he had a weapon, leading police to believe he was armed.
After collecting the money, the suspect fled south. Police estimate the suspect is 18 to 22 years old, has a thin build, and is of average height. The suspect is not in custody at this time.
