Work session, public comment meeting take place Tuesday, Oct. 14

The Fort Worth City Council will conduct a work session at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, in the Work Session Room on the lower level of City Hall, 100 Fort Worth Trail.

The Council will receive informal reports on:

  • 2026 Debt Plan
  • Community Partnership Fund - Riverside Arts District Heritage Mural
  • Judicial recruitment and appointment process
  • Litter Control Update: FY25 summary and FY26 events
  • Residential neighborhood parking restrictions options

Presentations at work session include:

  • Update on Neighborhood Improvement Program and 2026 Announcement
  • Recycling Costs and Landfill Diversion Update
  • Long-term Waste Disposal, Strategic Planning and Future Options
  • Proposed Special Districts for Shelton Ranch and Brown Ranch in the ETJ
  • Proposed creation of a Walsh Ranch Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District
  • Evans and Rosedale Urban Village Mixed-Use Urban Development Financing Update

City Council public comment meeting

The City Council will hold a public comment meeting at 6 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall.

Residents may speak during the public comment portion of the agenda. Per Council Rules of Procedure:

  • Individual presentations are limited to three minutes.
  • Group presentations are limited to six minutes.
  • Time limits may be adjusted at the mayor's discretion.
