NRCS in N.H. Announces RCPP Signup Under ‘Northern Tier Stream Restoration & Resilience’ Project

(DOVER, N.H., April 29, 2026) - Today the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service (USDA, NRCS) in New Hampshire has announced the dates for signup for land management applications under the 'Northern Tier Stream Restoration & Resilience,' Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) project 1865.

New Hampshire producers must submit their applications by May 29, 2026, to be considered for funding under this project.

While applications are accepted year-round, applications submitted by May 29 will be considered for this funding round. Applications received after May 29 will be considered during subsequent funding cycles.

The Northern Tier Stream Restoration & Resilience RCPP Project aims to restore degraded stream ecosystems, through the implementation of woody stream additions, across the state of New Hampshire. This will be accomplished by addressing the Aquatic Habitat resource concern. This project is a multi-state funding agreement through a partnership with Trout Unlimited, Inc.

How to Apply

Eligible producers must address at least one natural resource concern identified by NRCS and its partners for this project. To be eligible to apply, producers must confirm control of land and conform with highly erodible land and wetland provisions. New Hampshire producers are eligible for this funding. For more information or to sign up for this opportunity, producers should contact New Hampshire NRCS RCPP Coordinator, Jessica Rock at [email protected] or 603-923-3694.
