Tempe Community Council to Host 8th Annual Care Fair Tempe on March 28

Tempe, AZ - Tempe Community Council (TCC) invites residents to attend the 8th Annual Care Fair Tempe on Saturday, March 28, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Tempe Community Complex, 3500 S. Rural Road. This free, family-friendly event connects community members with vital local resources while offering food, activities and entertainment for all ages.

Care Fair Tempe brings together more than 80 local nonprofits and City of Tempe programs, offering direct access to information, services and support that benefit individuals and families throughout the community.

New this year, Care Fair will also feature:

• A job fair, connecting job seekers with local employers and workforce resources
• Onsite health screenings, providing convenient access to basic health services and information
• The Institute for Digital Inclusion Acceleration (IDIA) Mobile Hive, featuring access to technology like podcasting, 3D printers, stop-motion animation, robotics and virtual reality
• The Curiosity Cube, a mobile science lab offering interactive STEM experiments for youth

In partnership with Compudopt, Care Fair Tempe will also distribute 100 free laptops to eligible households. Laptops include two years of free technical support. To qualify, recipients must not have a working computer at home, must not have received a laptop from Compudopt within the past two years, and are limited to one laptop per household. Interested residents must register in advance through Compudopt, and eligible participants will be randomly selected and notified prior to the event.
