NATA Congratulates David Cummins on Confirmation as TSA Administrator

Washington, DC, August 7, 2026 - ​​​​NATA (the National Air Transportation Association) congratulates David Cummins on his confirmation and swearing-in as the eighth Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). His focus on the TSA workforce, advanced technology, traveler communication, and evolving drone integration and cyber threats comes at an important time for aviation security.
