WASHINGTON, D.C., November 3, 2025 - Josephine Bahn, an associate in the firm's Commercial Litigation Department, has been selected to receive the Young Lawyer of the Year Award from the Bar Association of DC (BADC). The Young Lawyer of the Year Award recognizes a young lawyer or group of young lawyers who have demonstrated excellence in their profession and made significant contributions to the profession. The BADC has selected all of the law firm associates who coordinated Legal Aid DC's 2025 Making Justice Real Campaign for this award. The campaign raised more than $4 million for Legal Aid to expand access to justice throughout the DC community. Jo and the other honorees will be formally recognized at the BADC's Annual Banquet & Awards Gala on December 6 in Georgetown.
Jo focuses her practice on commercial litigation and construction law. Jo is a trial lawyer focused on high-stakes litigation in state and federal courts, administrative forums, and before arbitration panels. She knows that no two cases are alike and no one answer can solve a client's concerns. Jo knows that the best resolution for a client comes after listening to their concerns, identifying their problems, and actively working collaboratively to find the best resolution to advance her client's broader business goals.
