Ride and Donate for a Cause: 2026 Kourpias K-9 Classic Motorcycle Ride to Traverse Washington State Landmarks

The IAM Union is once again revving up for a powerful cause for our favorite charity-supporting Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (GDA | TLC) through the 2026 Kourpias K-9 Classic motorcycle ride, presented by the IAM Union Western Territory.

Save-the-date for July 10-12, 2026!

This year's ride will take participants through the breathtaking landscapes of Washington state, featuring a route that winds through the Puget Sound, alpine mountain passes, river valleys, orchards, vineyards, and the stunning terrain of North Cascades National Park.

"The IAM Western Territory is proud to host this year's traditional Kourpias K9 Classic motorcycle ride to support our union's favorite charity, GDA | TLC," said IAM Union Western Territory General Vice President Robert "Bobby" Martinez. "This ride is so important to so many of our IAM members who are proud to contribute to a cause that brings us together in service."

The Kourpias K-9 Classic is more than a scenic motorcycle ride-it's a call to action for IAM members, Districts, Locals and employers to come together in support of GDA | TLC's life-changing work.

Participants and supporters can contribute through a variety of K-9 Award Levels:

• Puppy Treats - $100 donation
• Puppy Kisses - Raffle item or basket (minimum $250 value)
• Nose Boop - $500 donation
• Raise the Woof - $1,000 donation

Corporate Sponsorship Levels:

• Su-PAW-Star - $5,000 (banner recognition)
• Fur-ever Friend - $10,000 (event recognition at District 751 Hall)
• Making it Paw-sible - $25,000 (enhanced event recognition)
• Nose to Tail - $75,000 (covers the average cost of a service dog, includes premium recognition)

Locals and members are encouraged to get involved however they can-whether by assembling a ride team, donating, sponsoring, or urging employers to support.
