NIFA Invests $4.8M in Diet, Nutrition and the Prevention of Chronic Disease

USDA's National Institute of Food and Agriculture has invested $4.8 million in seven projects that aim to help prevent and control chronic disease across the lifecycle by supporting and encouraging healthy dietary choices through data-driven, flexible, customer-focused approaches. The grants are part the Agriculture Food and Research Initiative's Food Safety, Nutrition and Health program area, AFRI Diet, Nutrition, Prevention of Chronic Diseases (A1344) program area priority. FY 2025 Awardees: Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University, Florida State University, North Carolina A&T State University, Public Health Foundation Enterprises Inc., Texas A&M AgriLife Research, University of Tennessee and Utah State University.
