Fun Activities For The Whole Family!
The days leading up to Halloween are filled with free and low-cost activities for children and fun seekers of all ages. Find something safe and fun to do below. All activities are subject to change. All centers and city of Las Vegas offices are closed Oct. 31, in observance of Nevada Day.
Ward 4 Halloween Celebration & Movie in the Park (all ages)
Saturday, Oct. 4, 5 p.m.; movie begins at dusk.
Free and open to the public.
Huckleberry Park, 10325 Farm Road.
Bring the family in costume to enjoy free trunk-or-treating in the parking lot, Halloween music, a Sanderson Sisters Costume Contest, popcorn and "Hocus Pocus" themed activities for the kids. Disney's "Hocus Pocus" PG-rated movie starts at dusk on the grass field. Food trucks will offer refreshments for sale.
Haunted Halloween Desserts Cooking Class (ages 50+)
Wednesday, Oct. 8, 10-11:30 a.m.

Bring the family in costume to enjoy this free block party with live music and visual artists, food trucks and a Halloween costume contest with prizes. Asteroid M is a Las Vegas record label and recording studio founded by producer Cody Leavitt and is dedicated to bringing an eclectic variety of musical, visual and performing artists to the Goodman Plaza. Asteroid M's artist list consists of a variety of genres spanning, rock, indie, surf, pop, punk and dance music. The local record label's bands draw large crowds and the shows they promote typically involve live visual artists and a variety of genres.

There will be mayhem and mystery at the haunted manor. Guests will investigate the murder of two victims with Detective Finn Fox. Everything you need to find the killer will be provided (while supplies last). Solve the mystery and be entered to win the grand prize of WHO DONE IT! Come in your best detective or Victorian wear and let the hunt begin! Don't want to play detective? No problem. There also will be a haunted conservatory maze, creepy crafts, movies with a ghost, trunk-or-treating and face painting. Space and supplies are on a first-come, first-served basis and may be limited.
