The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) will conduct two virtual public information meetings concerning the Connecticut 2055 Long-Range Transportation Plan on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
The public information meetings are being held to provide the public the opportunity to offer comments or ask questions regarding the draft long-range transportation plan. Both meetings will take place on Zoom, and registration is required. A question and answer (Q&A) session will immediately follow the presentation, which will be recorded. Both meetings will cover the same information. For instructions on accessing the meeting and ways to provide comments and ask questions, please visit portal.ct.gov/LongRangeTransportation.
The Connecticut 2055 Long-Range Transportation Plan is the state's strategic blueprint, highlighting the goals, performance measures, policies, and investments needed to develop the state's transportation system over the next 30 years.
"Connecticut is growing and people's travel needs are changing. Connecticut 2055 reflects this reality and ensures safety and mobility remain the top priority. Whether someone drives, uses public transportation, walks, or bikes, that trip must be safe and convenient," said Connecticut Department of Transportation Commissioner Garrett Eucalitto. "Connecticut 2055 is a transformative plan that will drive economic growth, connect our communities, and enhance lives through a forward-thinking, multimodal transportation system. I encourage the public to join us, hear from our team, and share their feedback as we shape the future of transportation in Connecticut together."
