Senator Banks: "We'll get a briefing to hear more about where do we go from here. But Democrats are already trying to politicize this. They have a so-called war powers resolution that would tie President Trump and our military's hands. So my biggest hope out of this briefing is that Republicans will remain unified in support of President Trump, our commander in chief, in support of our troops to do what it takes to make sure that Iran never gets a nuclear weapon. That's the end goal. Stop them from producing uranium, also take out their ballistic missiles, cut off any further supplies that they have to their proxy terrorist groups. We're well on the way to doing that… this has been a very effective operation. Secretary Hegseth has done a phenomenal job once again in leading our military efforts along with our military leaders. But this briefing in a little bit, hopefully will remind everyone what is at stake, why we have to stand with the president, support our troops, and then vote against a political effort by the Democrats to tie the president's hands."

Senator Banks: "This shows why we have to carry out the mission, carry out the job. These are evil and dangerous people…We have to finish the job. And by the way, President Trump has been very transparent, both with Congress, with the American people, and with Iran. He warned Iran over a hundred times. Come to the table and make a deal… or there will be hell to pay, and the Iranians chose the hell to pay. Now we have to finish the job and make sure that they never have a nuclear weapon."

Senator Banks: "I served in Afghanistan. That was a forever war. What President Trump is doing is de-escalating a situation by wiping out the evil and bad people and their capabilities. He's not escalating it. And he's not promising that we're going to go in for the next 20 years and use our military to rebuild Iran. He's telling the Iranian people, this is your moment. Take over your country. We've given you a window of opportunity that's a gift to these people and their freedom that President Trump and the American military has given them. So that's a big difference from forever wars… Secretary Hegseth and President Trump and General Caine, our entire military, they've done a phenomenal job with precision strikes going after the capabilities of the Iranian military to make sure that they can't fight back hard. You see what's happening in real time. What they want to do is they want to wipe out Americans, America's allies. They're even attacking their Muslim neighbor countries like UAE and Saudi Arabia and Qatar. These are the actions of an evil regime and is exactly why President Trump is doing what he's doing."
