Argall, Pashinski Announce $75,000 State Grant to Improve Bear Creek Township Park

HARRISBURG - A $75,000 state grant was awarded to Bear Creek Township today to make improvements to Trailwood Park, including the installation of a fenced tennis and pickleball court. Sen. Dave Argall (R-29) and Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski (D-120) worked with local leaders to secure this funding.

"I am pleased that Bear Creek Township was awarded this competitive funding for Trailwood Park," Argall said.

"It's a pleasure working with Sen. Argall to secure funding for projects for the people we serve," Pashinski said.

This funding was awarded through the Statewide Local Share Account program, which distributes gaming revenue to economic development projects.

The funding was approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority, an independent agency of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development which administers many of Pennsylvania's economic development and community improvement programs.
