Delta was awarded Best U.S. airline for 2025 in Forbes Travel Guide's (FTG) second annual Verified Air Travel Awards.

The winners were determined by an invitation-only survey of more than 9,000 of the most well-traveled people in the hospitality industry, including luxury travel advisors and FTG's most frequent fliers - its incognito inspectors and training team.

This leading U.S. airline recognition comes in the same year as The Points Guy named Delta the Best U.S. Airline for the seventh year in a row, The Wall Street Journal named Delta its Top U.S. Airline for the fourth consecutive year and Cirium named Delta as the most on-time North American airline.

"We're honored Forbes Travel Guide recognized us for the second year in a row, especially as we celebrate our centennial," said Erik Snell, E.V.P. and Chief Customer Experience Officer. "It's a true credit to the Delta people who take pride in what they do every day. Innovation and design shape the customer experience, but it's our people whose care and dedication set Delta apart."

Delta received four additional 2025 Verified Travel Awards - with the airline securing its second consecutive honor for Best U.S. Business Class, Best U.S. Airline Lounge and Best Airline App:

  • Best U.S. First Class | Delta Air Lines A321neo First Class: The new domestic First Class seats on Delta's A321neo fleet feature a modern design with more privacy, workspace and storage, offering a comfortable and premium experience.
  • Best U.S. Business Class | Delta One: As one of the most exclusive cabins in the sky, Delta One offers spacious lie-flat seats and complimentary access to Delta One Lounges, Delta Sky Club and use of Sky Priority services.
  • Best U.S. Airline Lounge | Delta One Lounge - JFK Airport: The Delta One Lounge at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport - the first of its kind, and larger than any Delta Sky Club - offers a variety of experiences and amenities for the premium traveler.
  • Best Airline App | Delta Air Lines - Fly Delta app: The Fly Delta app - with its recent 7.5 app update - continues to be the ultimate travel companion, connecting every step of the journey with intuitive, real-time features that reduce stress and keep you moving.

Additionally, New York's LaGuardia Airport (LGA) was named the Best U.S. Airport for the second consecutive year. Operating more than 220 daily departures from LGA, Delta remains the airport's largest carrier, offering extensive connections and a convenient travel option for New Yorkers and New Jerseyans on the go.

"Being named the nation's best airport by Forbes Travel Guide for the second year in a row is an incredible honor and a testament to the lasting impression LaGuardia has made in its transformation into a world-class gateway," said Ryan Marzullo, Delta's Managing Director of New York Corporate Real Estate. "Delta is proud of our continued partnership with the Port Authority and LaGuardia Gateway Partners to deliver a state-of-the-art terminal that reflects our shared commitment to providing a premium travel experience for New Yorkers, New Jerseyans and visitors alike."

Delta continues to reach new heights at New York's LaGuardia Airport with the latest enhancements to its world-class Terminal C - part of the now-completed $4 billion transformation in partnership with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
