City of Tuscaloosa to Host Love our Lakes Day this Saturday

Tuscaloosa Water and the City of Tuscaloosa's Environmental Services Department invite residents to take part in Love Our Lakes Day, a lake cleanup event this Saturday, March 21, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lake Tuscaloosa's Rock Quarry Boat Landing.
Presented by Tradesman Dock Building Company, this community-driven initiative focuses on preserving the natural beauty and health of Lake Tuscaloosa. Volunteers will receive garbage bags and litter pick-up gear provided by the City's Environmental Services.
The first 75 volunteers to arrive will receive a free t-shirt, and lunch will be provided to participants.
Volunteers with boats are encouraged to bring them, as they'll help clean up hard-to-reach areas of the lake. Volunteers without boats will be assigned to City boats.
Interested participants should register online here.
