DGA Chair Governor Andy Beshear released the following statement on the inauguration of New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill:
"Congratulations to Governor Mikie Sherrill on her history-making inauguration today. Governor Sherrill won in a landslide by running on bold plans to lower energy costs and cut red tape to make life more affordable for all New Jerseyans. Today, she is hitting the ground running by declaring a State of Emergency on Utility Costs, making good on her Day One promise to bring down costs for working families.
"On behalf of the Democratic Governors Association, I look forward to working alongside Governor Sherrill as she delivers for New Jerseyans."
