Hickenlooper secured $145 million for 113 home-grown projects
Since elected, Hickenlooper has delivered $470 million for 388 Colorado projects
WASHINGTON - Today, U.S. Senator John Hickenlooper welcomed more than $197.4 million in funding for Colorado projects. Hickenlooper himself secured more than $145 million for 113 projects across 62 communities and 38 counties through the congressionally directed spending (CDS) process.
"These projects are about getting on-the-ground results for Colorado," said Hickenlooper. "They are driven by Coloradans for Coloradans, making sure our communities are constantly improving."
CDS projects help local governments and non-profits address priorities across Colorado, including investments in affordable housing, health care, transportation infrastructure, wildfire resilience, small business development, and public safety.
In his time as Senator, Hickenlooper has secured more than $470 million in funding for Colorado priorities through the CDS process.
Of the more than $197 million in funding included in this year's bills for Colorado communities, Hickenlooper secured $145.7 million for 113 projects. A full list of the funded projects is below.
