Parkview Health earns Great Place to Work certification

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Oct. 5, 2026 - Parkview Health recently received its second annual certification from Great Place To Work®, recognizing the health system for its excellent culture and workplace environment.

Parkview's job satisfaction was 30 percentage points higher than the U.S. employer average.

"Parkview's culture is shaped by our co-workers, which has helped us create a workplace that truly works for them," said Dena Jacquay, chief administrative officer, Parkview Health. "As we continue to attract and retain the best talent, and as we grow into new regions, our culture binds our team together. Ultimately, this culture we've created together ensures that patients receive the highest quality care and best experience no matter where they are in Indiana and Ohio."

Great Place To Work is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention and increased innovation.

According to Great Place To Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work, and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company's profits and have a fair chance at promotion.

In order to receive certification, Parkview provided information about its workforce, benefits and culture and surveyed co-workers asking what they thought about working for Parkview.

Parkview regularly solicits internal feedback, whether through the systemwide Listening Tour focus groups, a culture survey, or stay interviews with co-workers. Numerous new benefits have come in direct response to that feedback, with nearly two dozen changes as part of the system's ongoing Your Voice Matters campaign.

Parkview currently employs more than 20,000 people across more than 25 counties and maintains a voluntary retention rate of more than 90%, more than five percentage points higher than national benchmarks for healthcare organizations.

"Great care starts with great caregivers," said Dr. Ray Dusman, president, physician and clinical enterprise, Parkview Health. "The investment Parkview makes in our co-workers in both their professional and personal lives helps people feel secure, supported and valued. When our caregivers come to work engaged and enthused, that energy is present in the great care they deliver and the connections they make with their patients."

Parkview's Great Places to Work certification is the latest in a series of awards recognizing its workplace culture. The health system has been certified as a Most Loved Workplace for three consecutive years, ranking No. 5 in the nation in 2025; was named a Forbes Best-in-State Employer for five consecutive years; was selected the No. 1 nonprofit, No. 8 overall Inspiring Place to Work in North America in 2026; and was listed among Newsweek's Greatest Workplaces in Healthcare for the second consecutive year.
