Marian University Announces “Magical Christmas Markets 2026” Travel Opportunity & Upcoming Information Session

Marian University (Wisconsin) is excited to share details about its upcoming Magical Christmas Markets 2026 tour - an immersive travel experience exploring the historic and festive holiday markets of Austria and Germany - at an information session on Thursday, February 19 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the C.D. Smith Boardroom inside the Stayer Center. This information session will be held in person and virtually.

Scheduled for November 27 - December 4, 2026, this unique journey will take participants to some of Europe's most iconic Christmas markets, where centuries-old traditions, twinkling lights, cultural celebrations and regional specialties define the holiday season. Travelers will enjoy guided visits and curated experiences in Innsbruck, Seefeld, Salzburg, and more - complete with traditional carriage rides, expert walking tours, local cuisine, and authentic seasonal markets alive with festive cheer.

Whether you're interested in handcrafted treasures, culinary delights, or rich European holiday traditions, this tour offers a memorable way to celebrate the season and connect with global cultures. The trip includes 8 days and 7 nights of travel with 10 meals included, showcasing the best of holiday market magic throughout Austria and Germany.
