Street Closures for Crazylegs
Many downtown streets will be closed on Saturday morning, April 25th, for the University of Wisconsin's 44th Annual Crazylegs Classic run/walk.
Street closures will begin at 9:45 am with race start times staggered to accommodate the walk and run portion of the event.
The major streets affected include:
- W Gilman Street
- Langdon Street
- Old University Avenue
- Walnut Street
While the event is scheduled to conclude at 12:00 pm, all closed streets will reopen as the final runners pass through each section. Visit the Crazylegs course information page for detailed race maps and learn about impacts in your area.
Allow extra time if you travel downtown during this event.
Madison Metro routes C, D, and 80 will be detoured during the event. Learn more about the detour.
