ATLANTA - State Representative Segun Adeyina (D-Grayson), in partnership with A Driving Force M&S, will host a Restore Jamaica: Hurricane Relief Community Event on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Snellville, Georgia, to support recovery efforts following Hurricane Melissa and Toys for Tots for families in need this Christmas.
"Jamaica's recovery will take all of us coming together, and I'm grateful to partner with A Driving Force M&S to support families still reeling from Hurricane Melissa," said Rep. Adeyina. "In times of crisis, community is our greatest strength. I encourage everyone who is able to join us, lend a hand and help bring hope and relief to those who need it most, including supporting Toys for Tots for families in need this Christmas."
"Our mission is simple but urgent: no one should be left hungry, homeless or unseen," said Shari Blake, Co-Founder and Community Impact Visionary, A Driving Force M&S. "With over 25 years in social work, I've learned that dignity begins with meeting basic needs-food, shelter and belonging. When we care for the most vulnerable, we strengthen the entire community."
The event will take place at 4515 Lenora Church Road in Snellville, Georgia 30039 and include authentic Jamaican food, music, community fellowship and activities for children.
Representative Segun Adeyina represents the citizens of District 110, which includes a portion of Gwinnett County. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2022 and currently serves on the Creative Arts & Entertainment, Education and Technology & Infrastructure Innovation committees.
