2025 NYS Public Safety UAS Summit

Jul 23 - Jul 24, 2025 NYS Fairgrounds, Syracuse, New York

Radar Aids Public Safety UAS Operations

The 2025 New York State Public Safety UAS Summit brings together first responders, public safety leaders, and UAS program managers to advance drone integration into emergency and law enforcement operations. As agencies increasingly rely on drones for situational awareness, disaster response, and search and rescue, airspace safety and security have become mission critical. Echodyne will be on-site to showcase radar technology that enhances low-altitude situational awareness for both drone operators and security personnel.

Echodyne's radar systems, powered by proprietary MESA® (Metamaterial Electronically Scanning Array) technology, deliver precise detection and tracking of manned and unmanned aircraft and drones - including those not emitting detectable RF or ADS-B signals. With their compact form factor, low power requirements, and real-time performance, MESA radars are ideal for integration into public safety UAS operations and airspace deconfliction systems.

Echodyne radars give operators the awareness needed to fly safely and respond faster. Used by federal agencies, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure providers across the country, Echodyne radar supports:

  • Safe beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) drone operations
  • Detection of unauthorized drones near emergency response zones
  • Integration with other sensors and systems

Visit Echodyne to see how MESA radar strengthens airspace awareness.
