The Smith Park pool will be open to the public for recreation swim from Tuesday, June 10, through Friday, August 15, offering residents a place to cool off, enjoy the water and spend time with family and friends. Lap swim will also return beginning Tuesday, June 17.
Recreation swim hours are as follows:

Mondays(newly added): 1 to 3:30 p.m. (Starting June 16)

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 7 to 9 p.m.

Fridays: 1 to 3:30 p.m.

Saturdays: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Lap swim hours (starting June 17):
Wading pool hours (free for all ages):

Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Friday until 3:30 p.m.)

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 7 to 9 p.m.

Saturdays: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Entry fees are:

$5 for ages 10 and older for Lap Swim (must be continuously swimming)

$2 for children ages 0-17

$3 for adults ages 18 and older
Only exact cash or Visa/MasterCard will be accepted. A 2.9% processing fee applies to all card transactions.
Pool guidelines include:

Swimmers must wear proper swimwear. Cutoffs and basketball shorts are not allowed.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Bag check is available for personal items.

No food, drinks or coolers are permitted on the pool deck.

A report card from the City of San Gabriel is required for Level 2 and higher

Registration is limited to one session at a time

Children must be registered by a parent or legal guardian
