New Global Survey Launched to Strengthen International Seed Networks

The IFOAM Seeds Platform, in collaboration with Let's Liberate Diversity! and a growing number of seed-focused organisations worldwide, is pleased to announce the launch of the Strengthening International Seed Network Survey.

This initiative is the first step in a collective effort to connect and reinforce the diverse actors working to support farmers' seeds and cultivated biodiversity around the globe.

Why This Matters

With over a dozen organisations from as many countries already involved, the survey seeks to:

  • Map who is working where, on what themes, and with which approaches
  • Highlight the diversity of initiatives and identify opportunities for exchange and collaboration
  • Lay the groundwork for shared tools, platforms, and actions to foster learning, coordination, and dialogue

This initiative is built on the principles of mutual support, solidarity, and knowledge-sharing. As a global effort, it aims to reduce duplication, bridge gaps, and amplify impact across seed movements.

We Need Your Input

Your voice will help shape a clearer, more connected picture of the global landscape - and ensure that future collaborations reflect your needs and realities. Take the 15-minute survey here:

  • English version
  • French version
  • Spanish version

Additional language versions will be available soon.

Spread the Word

Please share the survey with colleagues, organisations, and networks involved in seed work. The more voices we hear, the stronger the foundation we build together.
