Today, The New York Times unveiled the lineup of interviewees for Climate Forward 2025, a one-day event to be held at The Times Center in New York City on Wednesday, Sept. 24.
This flagship climate event provides a forum for the exchange of climate solutions and ideas, and holds newsmakers and industry leaders accountable in front of a live audience. featuring conversations with business leaders, U.S. policymakers, innovators, world leaders and others, alongside journalists from The New York Times.
This year's theme is "Breaking Points." The event will investigate what comes next for our rapidly warming planet. Through dynamic and insightful interviews with world leaders, activists, innovators and scientists, we will examine the implications of U.S. policy changes, what happens to climate action now and the global community's path forward amid evolving geopolitical landscapes.
With a focus on networking and connection, this full-day event will feature live journalism hosted by leading climate and political journalists from The New York Times as well as onstage discussions that invite audience input and one-on-one in-depth interviews with prominent newsmakers. The event will also showcase The Times's visual journalism and an audio installation to bring the content to life in a way only The Times can do.
