NW 69th Street Asphalt Improvement Project

The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with M & M Asphalt Maintenance Inc. to resurface NW 69th Street between NW 32nd Avenue and NW 31st Way in Palm Aire Village West. This project includes:

  • Milling and resurfacing asphalt
  • Applying new pavement markings

Construction will begin on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, and is expected to be completed on Friday, April 24, 2026. Work will take place daily between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Construction is expected to begin at NW 32nd Avenue and head east toward NW 31st Way. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Traffic Impacts

  • Neighbors are asked to refrain from parking along NW 69th Street within the project limits daily during work hours.
  • One lane in each direction of NW 69th Street within the project limits will be closed during work hours.
  • Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed.
  • Access to driveways will be maintained unless work is taking place in the immediate area across from the driveway. Crews will attempt to coordinate with neighbors prior to the start of asphalt operations that will impact driveway access.
  • Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
