PPL Foundation invests $300,000 to energize education across eastern and central Pennsylvania
Grants awarded to 42 nonprofit organizations with programs focused on STEM, literacy, career exploration and college readiness
ALLENTOWN, Pa. (Dec. 17, 2025) - The PPL Foundation has awarded $300,000 in grants to 42 nonprofit organizations serving communities throughout PPL Electric Utilities' 29-county service area in Pennsylvania. These grants will help create engaging educational opportunities for students of all ages.
The funding supports programs that build a strong foundation for student access, including early childhood education, literacy initiatives, career exploration and college preparatory programs.
"Education is the foundation for thriving communities," said Lissette Santana, president of the PPL Foundation. "We're proud to partner with organizations that are opening doors for students and helping ensure that every child has access to high-quality learning experiences that prepare them for the future."
