The California Conservation Corps Watershed Stewards Program and the Sustainability & Resilience Department invite community members to join in a hands-on restoration event at Arroyo Burro Open Space on Saturday, March 21, from 9 am to 1 pm.
Volunteers will help remove invasive plants, plant native species, and learn more about the local watershed. No experience is needed, and guidance will be provided throughout the event. Participants will also learn how to identify native and invasive plants and hear about the history of the Arroyo Burro watershed.
This event is open to all ages. Volunteers will receive all necessary materials, and no prior experience is required. Please consider bringing water, comfortable shoes, and sun protection.
