The York Water Company Acquires Wastewater System Serving Pine Run Retirement Community

York, Pennsylvania, March 30, 2026 - The York Water Company (NASDAQ: YORW), a trusted provider of water and wastewater utility services across southcentral Pennsylvania, announced today that it has closed on the acquisition of the wastewater system assets within the Pine Run Retirement Community in Hamilton Township, Adams County.

This important acquisition builds on York Water's recent purchase of the water supply system serving the Pine Run Community. With both transactions now complete, The York Water Company is the single provider of water and wastewater utility services for the Pine Run residents, extending service farther into Adams County and adding another 141 customers to the customer base. The consolidated utility service team enables a more streamlined and efficient approach to operation, maintenance, and customer service.
